“Local ownership and interagency coordination and cooperation in Kosovo” conference

This conference discussed key security concerns, such as the dynamics of cooperating in the region, preventing and countering violent extremism, countering information warfare, peacekeeping missions, which are all linked to projecting stability in the region and beyond.
The event brough together distinguished speakers, representing the Kosovo institutions, European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), NATO-led peacekeeping mission in Kosovo (KFOR), OSCE, UN mission in Kosovo as well as international organizations and donors in Kosovo. The aim of the conference was to share the experience of different stakeholders, including international missions, donors and organizations in Kosovo as well as the national institutions in the security area. In addition, development of local ownership in Kosovo since 2008 was the core topic discussed in the conference.
