The International Peace and Development Training Centre (IPDTC) of PATRIR has launched its course catalogue & training brochure for the 2nd half of 2017 and 2018. IPDTC is one of the leading providers of training for government officials, UN missions and agencies, policy makers and practitioners in peacebuilding, prevention, and post-war recovery and peace consolidation. Many of the 2017 and 2018 courses have been developed in cooperation with PeaceTraining.EU and drawing upon findings and results from the project. Some of the courses on offer include Advanced Certificate Programmes (ACPs) at IPDTC’s Global Academy and Executive Leadership Programmes (ELPs) in London, including: Making Prevention, Early Warning & Peacebuilding Effective: Lessons Learned, What Works in the Field and Core Skills; Designing Peacebuilding Programmes: Improving the Quality, Impact and Effectiveness of Peacebuilding and Peace Support; Advanced Simulations in Conflict: Enabling Conflict Transformation and Peace Training; Making Mediation & Peace Processes Work: Transforming Challenging and Intractable Conflicts; Designing and Implementing Effective Monitoring & Evaluation for Peacebuilding & Peace Support Operations.
