About

Mr. Venant Mligo is an awardee of the Rotary International Peace Fellowship at Makerere University. Also, he is an awardee of the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship training in substance abuse education, prevention, and treatment from Virginia Commonwealth University, VA, and an awardee of Drug Demand Reduction, Vienna, Austria, by UNODC and ISSUP. He is a prospective MSW and holds a BEd. As a public servant employee, he has acquired over a decade of experience in crime prevention and community safety. Also, he has extensive experience in youth empowerment and teaching. He has extensive experience in peace-building, drug abuse prevention, and mental health treatment support. He strongly believes that the world needs to invest more in positive peace-building than ever before. Also, believes that every human must be a stakeholder in conflict prevention, conflict management, conflict resolution and transformation, and post-conflict reconciliation for a better world for all.
