Engaging Conflict: Prevention, Management and Resolution
The Engaging Conflict Summer School is designed to equip committed students, early-career researchers and professionals with advanced tools to critically understand conflict and tackle it as a dynamic reality.
The Engaging Conflict Summer School addresses three core questions:
What is conflict?
How does conflict work?
How can we respond to conflict?
Engaging Conflict’s faculty draws from a unique spectrum of expertise to train a select group of participants in assessing the complexity of conflict and post-conflict scenarios, and evaluating the relevance and impact of different policy choices and normative standings, from non-intervention to conflict prevention and peacebuilding.
Engaging Conflict is a comprehensive learning experience structured around two intensive weeks that combine inputs and lectures by renowned scholars, subject matter experts and practitioners with participatory activities in an informal, yet challenging, environment.
The Engaging Conflict Summer School aims at equipping participants with the knowledge, skills and tools to assess the complexity of conflict and post-conflict scenarios, and evaluate the relevance and impact of different policy choices and normative standings.
